More than three years after closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic—and 18 months after it was purchased from Penn State by alumni-owned Scholar Hotels—the iconic Nittany Lion Inn is reopening this fall with a renovation that upholds the tradition of the historic University Park hotel while adding modern touches and amenities throughout. (And don’t worry: You’ll still find fresh apples available in the lobby.)
