Then and Now: Creamery

The Creamery opened in 1932 at the Borland Building.

Borland Building (above) was home to the Creamery from the time it opened in 1932 until 2006, when the Creamery was moved down Curtin Road to the Rodney Erickson Food Science Building and renamed the Berkey Creamery. The outer section of Borland, where the ice cream had been sold, was torn down the following year to help create additional space for students and faculty.
