A $7.6-million renovation of Penn State Hazleton’s Lofstrom Library has modernized and brightened the nearly 50-year-old facility. Multi-level windows were installed to increase natural light, and renovations were made to offices, common areas, quiet study rooms, group study rooms, a maker-space, a one-button studio, a meditation corner, and the Math Dimension learning center. Additional improvements included new ceilings, a new roof and new HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. —RP
