From donating blood, food, warm clothes, or kids’ toys to sending care packages, flowers, or just a kind note to someone in need, College of Nursing alumni in November rallied for the “Random Acts of Kindness” challenge. Look for the social media hashtag #PennsStatersGiveBack.

Unable to return to campus for Homecoming, their biggest annual fundraiser, Blue Band alums in October held a virtual 5K to benefit the Blue Band Legacy Fund, which supports the Blue Band’s long-term financial needs.

Combining “social distancing and giving back,” members gathered at Philadelphia’s Malcolm X. Park on Nov. 15 for a “Drive-By Food Drive,” where they collected canned and nonperishable food items to donate to those in need over the holidays.
