John Colaneri Fixes America’s Most Desperate Kitchens

If you’re a fan of the show America’s Most Desperate Kitchens on HGTV, you probably already know that season two kicks off tonight. One of the show’s two co-hosts, John Colaneri, is a Penn Stater who we featured in our January/February 2015 issue. Here’s what we wrote about him back then:

John Colaneri just won’t leave the kitchen. HGTV announced in December that Colaneri ’03 Lib and his cousin Anthony Carrino, co-stars of the hit renovation series Kitchen Cousins, will star in yet another new show on the network next year. America’s Most Desperate Kitchens will be the cousins’ fourth HGTV show, following prior spinoffs Cousins on Call and Cousins Undercover. When they’re not on camera together, Colaneri (he’s the one on the left) and Carrino can be found partnering on projects for New Jersey-based Brunelleschi Construction.

If you’ve never seen the show before, you can check out a preview at the top of the post. Season two of America’s Most Desperate Kitchens will kick off on HGTV tonight at 8 p.m. EST.
