Undrafted last November despite back-to-back seasons on the all-Big Ten first team, Nittany Lion basketball great Lamar Stevens signed as a free agent with the Cleveland Cavaliers. His original contract, a two-way deal, meant Stevens might spend time relegated to the Cavs’ minor-league affiliate. But he impressed enough during limited opportunities this season to earn a full NBA contract: In April, he signed a multi-year deal with the Cavs, confirming his place as a full-fledged NBA player.
