Former Penn State men’s gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik ’20 Eng became the first American to win gold on the pommel horse at the men’s gymnastics world championships on Oct. 23 in Kitakyushu, Japan.

It was the first world championships for Nedoroscik, who was an NCAA pommel horse champion in 2017 and 2018, and the first world title won by the U.S. men’s team in 10 years.
