The Movement Continues
The mass protests sparked by the killing of George Floyd have been hailed by many as the start of a new civil rights movement. We asked faculty from Penn State’s African American Studies department for their perspective on the surge in awareness and activism, which they see as part of an ongoing process that began centuries ago and is unlikely to end anytime soon.
