Paul Schaefer, who allegedly ran a mysterious cult in Chile called Colonia Dignidad, has died in a Chilean prison at the age of 89. According to a story in the New York Times, he was serving a sentence for child sexual abuse, but also was thought to be connected to the 1985 disappearance of Penn State math professor Boris Weisfeiler, who went missing while on a hiking vacation in Chile.
