Penn State Makes Its Pitch for a Bowl Game

On the off chance that any officials from the Orange Bowl or Fiesta Bowl might be surfing on YouTube or gopsf.com this weekend, the athletic department has produced a two-minute video for them. Just a little something to remind them how much fun it is to have Penn State—and Penn State’s fans—at a bowl game.
And, as the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports, Joe Paterno has made a few phone calls on the Lions’ behalf as well. We’ll find out the result—officially, anyway—Sunday night around 8:00, though it’s entirely possible that word of the bowl pairings will leak out soon after Saturday’s games are finished.
