“There’s No Way That’s a Bear”

I came across this short tale of a camping adventure by Kate Dailey ’02, a former Lion Ambassador who went on to be an associate editor at Women’s Health and Men’s Health magazines. Kate recently finished a master’s program at Columbia University and is living in New York City. Her amusing story of camping in Colorado with her then-boyfriend (“We were 2/3 of the way through our trip and 9/10 of the way through our romantic relationship”) is posted on a blog called The Accidental Extremist, where anyone can submit a story about an unexpected travel experience.
