Going Postal

David Lembeck ’85 is co-curating an exhibit about Depression-era post office art, and the show got some press in The Philadelphia Inquirer over the weekend. One story provides an overview of the show, while the other tells about the legal dustup the State Museum of Pennsylvania got into with the U.S. Postal Service over rights to the images. Lembeck and Michael Mutmansky ’97 have made it their mission to document the beautiful New Deal murals, as The Penn Stater chronicled in a September/October 2005 photo essay.
The exhibit runs until May 17 at the State Museum of Pennsylvania, 300 North St. in Harrisburg.
